Hope everyone has had a great summer. Don’t worry, we’re alive and well! This summer, we spent the majority of our time in our living room writing and recording tons of new songs, which we’re super pumped about. On 9/5/11, The Rassle will launch one of their new songs, “21″ as a free download through Clarks Originals. The band was recently flown to London to participate in the brand’s new campaign, which also highlights some other great bands like Little Dragon, Bo Ningen and Jah Buck and Earl Gateshead of the collective Trojan Sound System. Be sure to let everyone you know about the song launch!!!

The Rassle participated in Gant Rugger’s new FW11 Collection video lookbook. The brand uses “Born Free” which you can download for free, along with 3 other songs here. Came out pretty cool and gets us stoked for sweater weather. Fuck you Irene!
We recently participated in an HTC campaign, where they went around the country and hung out with bands and chatted about their music, places they like to hang in their city, etc. It was really chill, and fun and we’re stoked to have been among other musicians like Del the Funky Homosapien and a bunch of others. Check it out.
Next Wednesday we are supporting our buds Jump Into the Gospel for their 4 week residency at Pianos NYC. Brick + Mortar also plays. We play at 9 sharp, so be sure to get there early, with a drink in hand, cause it’s also Erik’s b-day. Let’s celebrate!
